The Big Unwrap

hiya,

I hope you all had a very merry and joyful Christmas and all opened up your Christmas wishes  on 25th December...

What I got for Christmas, I was given presents by the infamous Santa Claus and from my friends and family.

What 'Santa' got me...

From 'Santa' I got a ghd hair/blow dryer and straightening iron. I love these presents as my original hair straighteners were given to cousin to 'borrow' infinitely and my hair dryer has melted crayon wax all over it from a messy art project.

I also got ALOT of chocolate... most of which will have already disappeared by the end of the week!

From my mum I found all wrapped up artfully a M.A.C makeup box ( Enchanted Eve face palette) and a mini brush set.

from my Dad I found in a less artfully mess a fujifilm instax mini 7.0 camera and and accessory box.

My brother gave me a Primark gift card and so did my gran.

My crazy Granddad and Nan gave me £100!!

My cousins gave me Kiko makeup and a hair styling kit.

My Aunt and Uncle got me some pyjamas and nail polishes.

From my friend Millie I got an amazing Ted Baker kit full of makeup!

My friend Lucy brought me a wonderful Soap and Glory set!

My Bestie Paige got me a Musical theatre production to see elf earlier in December...

Thats what  I got for Christmas!

I hope you all enjoyed all the festivities and I'm so sad that it's all slowly coming to close and the new year is creeping up on us.

Thanks

Wearing glasses

I'm Hiya,

I have new glasses!

Most of you probably didn't know that I wear glasses but I do. I am short sighted and I have just got my new pair of glasses!

I don't think that people who wear glasses should be limited to a certain style or have any restrictions in makeup.

I also feel that they shouldn't be pressured into wearing more or less makeup, everyone is individual and different and should fell comfortable with who they are and what they wear.

I wanted to do a winter edition makeup for glasses wearers...

This winter I'm loving copper and gold colours so I based this around gold and copper...

Enjoy...

(Sorry for the bad picture)

Face:

Apply primer (optional) and rub in.
Apply foundation and apply using a foundation brush or your fingers.
If needed touch with conclearer to cover any blemishes or spots, use a brush.
Add contour /highlight/ illuminator.
Apply blush using a blush brush. (Tongue twister!: blush brush 😂)

Eyes:

Apply eye primer using your fingers.
Using eye shadow base brush apply a warm shimmer gold to your eyelid.
Using a similar brush apply a copper colour and blend the two together.
In the inside corner of your eye apply a light matte nude colour.
In the outside corner of your eye apply a dark copper colour.
Blend into he goldy/copper eyes shadow.
Add th same dark copper colour to be your crease.
Blend!
Apply liquid eyeliner to define the eyes.
OPTIONAL: add a brown or black pencil to your water line to create a bolder eye.
Add a layer of mascara.
Curl lashes.
Add another layer of mascara.

Line lips with a dark burgundy pencil. (Lip pencil)
Cover you lips with a dark burgundy lisptick.
Apply a light red shade of lipstick onto the inner centre of your lower and top lips.
Blend together.

Ta da!

Perfect look for a Christmassy night/day out.

Anyone can wear this makeup look, with or without glasses.

Hope you enjoyed and re-created the look.

Thanks

Build up to Christmas

Hiya,

Sorry, I haven't posted in ages!

It's getting closer to Christmas, I have finally put up my Christmas Tree and a small bundle of cute festive decorations.

I actually can't wait and this year were going to have Christmas Day at home with about a thousand relations coming round and squeeze into my my house.

Presents are getting wrapped and school is slowly coming to a close. Yes!

Tomorrow I am giving my school friends (yes, I do have friends) some little presents to wish them a happy and Merry Christmas.

I am so excited that I have (tried) learnt the words 'Merry Christmas' in a couple of languages...

English- Merry Christmas
French - Joyeux Noël
Spanish- Feliz Navidad
Greek- καλά Χριστούγεννα
German-Fröhliche Weihnachten
Italien- buon Natale
Latin- bonum diem natalis Jesu
Turkish- mutlu Noeller
Japanese- メリークリスマス
Chinese- 圣诞节快乐

Christmas is celebrated in many different ways all around the world, for example...

England- Spend all day unwrapping presents and having a big meal with your family.

France- they spend their day eating at a delicious meal and have a log shaped soponge pudding for pudding. they normally have a special meal called Rèveillon on christmas eve of early christmas morning.

Spain- most people in Spain go to a service at church like Midnight Mass called 'La Misa Del Galo' (The mass of the Rooster). They normally have their main Christmas meal on Christmas Eve before they go to the service.

Every spends Christmas differently, but where ever you are on the Earth: Merry Christmas!

Christmas DIY's

Hiya

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but on Friday I went to a Christmas Faye (thing) and on Saturday I was performing in a Christmas concert in the evening and rehearsing for Oliver `Show in the morning so i didn't get time to post.

Well anyways, Today I was at Kingston in the John Lewis and saw some really pretty homemade looking baubles and tree ornaments and my mind started thinking DIY's Christmas style.

So as soon as I got back to my very messy and not festive (so called) room, I searched on the infamous Google  'DIY XMAS' and this is the one I found that is simple enough for me.

Number 1:

Bottle top Snowmen...

This I tried out with my cousins and they loved this simple diy.

What you need:
- 3 bottle caps (off like beer or the J2O's)
- ribbon & string
- paint (black and orange)
- small buttons
- glue (glue gun or superglue - found this out after they kept falling apart when using PVA glue!)

How to make the cute little snowmen:

1) line up the three bottle caps to look like a festive snowman.
2) glue them together at the edges where they meet.
3) wait for the glue to dry.
4) you should now have a basic looking snowman (if you use your imagination)
5) turn over your 'snowman' to see the back.
6) cut a ribbon (so you can fold it in half and hang on a tree) about 14 cm
7) stick one end to the bak of your snowman at its head.
8) wait for it to dry and then glue on the other end on the same spot.
9) wait for it to dry and then turn over the snowman so you can't see where you glued the ribbon.
10) paint on a face in the top bottle cap and 3 dots in the middle bottle cap for its coat.
11) add a piece of string or ribbon about 10 cm to the gap between the 'face' bottle top and the 'coat' bottle top for a scarf.
12) add a button to the centre of the scarf to cover up the glue.
13) wait for it to dry.
14) there you go you have a homemade DIY snowman tree decoration.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to see if anyone made one.
You probably won't though. :(

Thanks

Winter Wants

Hiya,

Sorry this didn't post yesterday but my computer failed me and wouldn't let me publish it so here it is....

My Winter Wants...

My winter wants are things that I need most when it comes to the coldest months of the British weather.

Some winter wants most people will already have but some will be strange and little bit odd.

1) I always need a Primark throw or blanket. My house doesn't have a amazing heating so I live in a white throw which I brought from the local Primark store for about £7.

2) I need a hand cream because I am currently loving the scents of the body shop ones. I own the pink grapefruit and the mango;I love the hand creams!

3) Uggs or Timberlands. These are the most warmest shoes in the world. I love the fury Uggs and the clumpy boots from Timberland.

4)A pair of Dungarees... This may sound strange but its the easiest look ever. A long sleeved top and dungarees and to finish the look a pair of short heeled boots.

5) Some fairy lights. I bought my £1.50 battery operated fairy lights from Primark and hung them around my bedroom. I feel it brings a festive glow to my normally dull room.

6) A pair of fluffy socks....cozy! I love a good pair of socks to keep you warm in the freezing winter nights of the UK weather.

7) a good Starbucks or Costa... This is a NEED!! Frappé? Coffee? Hot chocolate?

Theses are my absolute winter wants and love Christmas when all these are in place.

Thanks

Present Ideas

Hiya!

Pinch, punch, first day of the month! It's the first of December!

Open the window in the advent calendars and put up the tree and decorations.

Decorations 'tick'
Presents....

Who to buy for?
What's presents to buy?
When should I buy them? A week before? A month?
Where to buy them?
Should I wrap them?
What to do?

I have a couple of different presents that your friends and family will love!

1)  Lush bath bombs

I find these some of the best presents to get for friends because they are cheap and really easy to get and can look really pretty. This year I'm loving baths bombs because they are all colourful and some are sparkly! Yay!

2) A gift card

This is so simple and mindless. I give these to people for Xmas and birthdays. Give your friends a £10-£20 gift card from their favourite shop. My favourite shops so far are Topshop and Superdrug. It's easy to pop a gift card into a card and be loved until next Christmas.

3) A comical prezzie

A little mug or a some silly £5 prezzie that will make your friends laugh a little bit. It's cheap and funny.

4) a homemade DIY prezzie

A cute little bag of peppermint creams or a special necklace made for you personally. I love these presents because it proves that they have put some effort or thought into your present and not just gone into a store and bought the cheapest thing in sight.

Hope you now have an idea for some simple and quick presents for Christmas presents
